Sirniki (also written as syrniki) is a dish of Russian cuisine, they made of cottage cheese. Usually, sirniki are fried with oil in pan.
Ingredients: 400g of cottage cheese, 1 egg, 2 tablespoons of sugar, 2 tablespoons of flour, 50 g of raisins, sunflower oil, salt, semolina.
Preparation: mix cottage cheese with sugar, egg, flour, add the raisins. Then roll small balls, and press them by hands, until width of them will be 2 cm. Roll them in semolina and fry in a well-heated frying pan with lots of oil.
Sirniki served with sour cream, honey or jam.
