Kulebyaka is a closed oval formed pie with one or more kinds of fillings. Fillings may be separated from each other by pancakes.
Dough: about 4 cups of flour, 1 cup of milk or water, 1 tablespoons of sugar, 50 g of margarine or butter, 1 egg, 20 g of yeast.
Dissolve yeast in the warm milk or water. Let it swell for 10-15 minutes. Mix sugar, eggs, salt, yeast, flour, margarine. Knead the smooth dough. The dough shouldn't be very thick, but also shouldn't stick to the fingers. When the dough is kneaded, cover it with a towel and put in a warm place. When the dough will become twice as big, flatten it and wait for it to rise again. Then you can bake.
Ingredients: 500 g of dough, 2 cups of cooked rice, 5 hard-boiled eggs, fish mince, 1 onion, leek, salt and pepper.
Preparation: divide the dough into two equal parts. Roll out the dough into a layer about 1 cm. Arrange layers of rice first, then a layer of chopped egg and leek, then a layer of fish mince with chopped onion. Then put the layer of dough on top. You can decorate the pie with elements made of dough (flowers, leaves, grid, etc.). Wrap the edges. Spread beaten egg on the top of pie. Put it in the preheated oven and bake for about 45 minutes at 200 ̊C.
